Maths Week Scotland is taking place from 19 to 27 September. Each year schools are invited to take part in a range of challenges and competitions. The following are also ideal to include in the language class! Follow the relevant link for more information:

• Maths wi nae borders - the challenge includes a section which must be answered in either Gaelic or Scots. Enter by 10 October.
• Maths tales competition - invites young authors to create a story that includes maths. Submissions in Gaelic are also invited. Entry deadline: 25 September.
