Tilda is trapped in a small town, balancing her studies, a supermarket job, and caring for her younger sister Ida and their alcoholic mother. While her friends have left for bigger cities, Tilda feels responsible for keeping her broken family together. When she receives a promising PhD opportunity in Berlin and meets Viktor, the brother of someone she lost five years ago, Tilda begins to imagine a way out.
