As part of the schools screening programme, the Filmhouse in Edinburgh is holding a special screening of Sorda/Deaf. 

Angela's deafness raises concerns during her pregnancy regarding connecting with her daughter. Post-delivery, partner Héctor supports her as she learns to mother in a society lacking adequate accommodations for the hearing-impaired.

A powerful opportunity to explore inclusion, communication and diversity through cinema. This award-winning film has received international acclaim, including major prizes at the Berlin and Málaga Film Festivals.

• Preferred payment method - invoice, by telephone, or by card on arrival

The screening costs £5 per pupil, with teachers/school staff free. Please ensure you have 1 staff member for every 10 pupils.
