French language

Travel round France and you and your pupils can explore a range of topics such as countries, directions, the weather, numbers and food.

This learning journey suggests a plan for learning, teaching and assessment starting from the experiences and outcomes. It demonstrates possible learning intentions and success criteria and details potential evidence of what your pupils can do, write, say or make as they progress through the learning journey.

The challenges are progressive and build on each other, however, they can be selected, used and adapted to suit the needs of learners and practitioners.

The materials promote active learning and are designed to be engaging and relevant.

Other suggested activities and downloadable materials in each curriculum area will help you develop your learners' skills in listening and talking, writing, and knowledge about language.

The wordbanks of key vocabulary will help you plan the language content in advance and vocabulary sound files will give you and your learners confidence in pronunciation.
