Use the audio recording of the Egyptian creation myth  to help learners investigate an ancient belief from Egypt about how the world was created.

The story is available in French and English and accompanied with a wordbank to help pupils identify the key characters and themes in both languages. Through their participation in a range of listening and reading activities, learners can explore the myth in both languages, therefore developing a respect and understanding of world beliefs and their literacy skills.

Learners should be familiar with the story in English and its main characters before they attempt any of the challenges.
