A showcase of films about Europe made by Scottish children. This event has been organised by SEET in partnership with the Edinburgh Playhouse and showcases the films created as part of the ‘Our Europe’ competition.

Our Europe is an innovative competition run by SEET, funded by the European Parliament and supported by Radio Lingua. Teams from all secondary schools in Scotland are invited to take part in this competition with the opportunity of winning an iPad for their school and a trip to Brussels.

Teams are asked to create a short film to raise awareness of the positive impact of the European Parliament on the lives of young people in the EU. No previous knowledge of film-making is requires, and guidance and resources will be available on the competition website. The competition is organised over three stages and has been designed to offer young people the opportunity to increase their knowledge and understanding of Europe and gain a range of transferable skills through the creative process.

More information is available on the SEET website.
