Advanced Higher Writing Skills: Pupil workshop

This Advanced Higher Writing Skills workshop, run in collaboration with the University of Glasgow, is open to all Advanced Higher modern languages pupils.

This is a great opportunity for pupils to:

  • Learn more about critical essay writing skills which will help them with the completion of their Advanced Higher portfolio
  • Experience a lecture at the university
  • Meet pupils from different schools and authorities who are also studying languages

After the workshop pupils can attend an optional visit to the Caricatures exhibition at the Hunterian Art Gallery: https://www.gla.ac.uk/hunterian/visit/exhibitions/exhibitionprogramme/thetruestmirror/

Schools should register on behalf of their pupils. Please indicate when registering how many pupils will be attending, and whether you wish to go on the optional art gallery visit.

While this event is for pupils, teachers may wish to attend and this should be reflected in the numbers when you register.

Registrations close Friday 24 November.
