Teenage girl:

Prêts, on commence?

Alors, comment s’appelle la Capitale? …….

Today we cross the Channel to visit France.

Let’s go,  a little quiz to test your knowledge about France

Ready, we begin?

Right then, what is the name of the capital city? .......

Too easy, of course, Paris!

But, what are the names of the second and third largest cities in France ...

Think of the letters L and M of the alphabet ... mmm? ....

Yes, it's Lyon and Marseille!

And Marseille is located next to what sea? ....

Right, it’s the Mediterranean Sea

What is the population of France .... More difficult .....

Yes, about 65 million

We go on: What are the colours of the French flag .... There are 3 colours ...

blue, white and red!

Not bad guys!

And a national holiday in France, when is it? ....

Yes, yes it is July 14, oh my, you are great!

It celebrates the storming of the Bastille, a prison during the French Revolution in 1789.

Now, give the names of two mountain ranges ... tic tac tic tac ...

Yes, there are the Alps to the east and the Pyrenees in the south-west, but also the Massif Central in the center, and the Jura and the Vosges, is also in the east. So you can go skiing in the winter in France, this is great!

Well, there are many castles in France, particularly along what river? ...

Come on, I can help you, this is the longest river in France .... it starts with an L drummmmmmmmmm ... it is ... the Loire

The majority of castles were built during the Renaissance to the Kings of France to have their holidays in - not bad holiday homes!

I choose the Château de Chambord!

Ah, France, did you know that it is the most visited country in the world?

Why?

Because it is a beautiful country of course!  And the Coq Gaulois is the emblem of France!

But seriously, in France, there are many extraordinary sites and monuments such as Mont Saint Michel, and also gastronomic specialties such as crepes, fashion designers like Chanel, sports competitions like the Tour de France, the beautiful villages and beautiful cities ... now it is up to you to do your research and prepare another quiz about France.

Go now, goodbye, and vive la France!
