Roald Dahl on Film, Scots Language Special

Into Film, in collaboration with Education Scotland and the Centre for the Moving Image, are delighted to offer schools a unique and educational screening event which explores Scots language through film.

The audience will enjoy a screening of Wes Anderson's film adaptation of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr Fox. This will be followed by an excerpt of the Scots translation of the book, Sleekit Mr. Tod, read by special guest Shane Strachan.

Into film have recently created a brand new educational resource called Scotland on Film. In this resource, there is a specific focus on Scots language and Fantastic Mr Fox, including a number of activities you can explore with your pupils following the event.
