Event Date: 13/05/2015 10:00 - 12:00

How can children learn several languages with apparently no effort, while many adults struggle with even basic French? Can anyone be bilingual, or are some people simply better at languages than others? Can being bilingual make you more intelligent? Will hearing more than one language confuse your baby? Can learning German stop you getting Alzheimers? We will examine certain myths about language and language learning and discuss to what extent bilingualism can benefit society, relationships, and our individual brains.

Must be booked in advance.
