Scottish Learning Festival 2012

SLF 2012 takes place on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 September in the SECC, Glasgow. The theme for this year’s festival is Creative Learning...Creative Thinking. The Cabinet Secretary for Education and Lifelong Learning will give the opening address to SLF.

Modern Languages 1+2 = You can too! (Thursday 20 September)
This workshop will explore how schools can meet the challenge set by Scottish Government of boosting language learning in Scotland’s schools. 

Language Learning in Scotland: A 1+2 Approach – 1 +2 = Gaelic (Wednesday 19 September)
This workshop will explore the important role that Gaelic has as part of the Scottish Government’s 1 + 2 approach to increase language learning in Scotland's schools.
