Hosted by the English Language and Linguistics Department at the University of Glasgow, this free CLPL event will showcase resources available for the study of Scots language in secondary schools. The event takes place at the University on Friday 14 June 11am - 4pm (lunch provided) and will focus on a number of online resources which encompass the words, sounds and sentence structures of Scots, past and present. In the morning session, the resources will be introduced by a number of University of Glasgow academics working on Scots. In the afternoon session, you will be given the opportunity to ‘test drive’ the resources through a series of task-based activity-stations aimed at secondary school learners.
