Event Date: 30/11/2018 - 02/12/2018

Curated by three partner companies: Bilingualism Matters at The Edinburgh University, Theatre Sans Accents and the Polish Cultural Festival Association and hosted by the Assembly Roxy; a programme of workshops, talks, performances, concerts, mini food festival and other events will aim to showcase and empower Edinburgh's various vibrant artistic and cultural talents.

The event will take place on St Andrew's day weekend at the Assembly Roxy in Edinburgh. We are looking for collaborators and contributors who would like to run events (1-2 hours long max) in relation to the theme of our festival during Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd December daytime.

Visit the Theatre Sans Accents website for more information about contributing to the event or contact Marion Geoffray.

Free workshops are being offered to Edinburgh (and EH postcode) primary and secondary schools. The workshops aim to explore through arts the experience and benefits of speaking or learning another language, along with challenging misconceptions about bilingualism.

Artists from drama, music, dance and visual arts backgrounds will work with pupils to explore children and young people’s multilingual stories and develop innovative art work, which will be presented during the Festival weekend on 1st and 2nd December.

School workshops will take place between 1st and 12th October 2018, with selected schools offered two 2-hour sessions with an artist from the field most suited to their school.

Visit the website to find out more and register interest for these sessions by 23 September.
