The Spanish Embassy Education Office in collaboration with Durham University and Durham County Council are holding the training event Jornadas de Español in Durham University on Saturday 2 December (from 9:00 to 16:00). This could be very interesting for professionals in Scotland and Spanish Embassy Education Office recommends attendance.

The workshops aim to deal with new trends in the teaching and learning of Spanish as a Foreign Language. Professionals working in the UK will share ideas and pedagogical proposals, with three lines of interest: Post-communicative approach in the learning of Spanish in Primary, CLIL and New Technologies, and Language and Culture.

The workshops are primarily addressed to primary and secondary teachers of Spanish, lecturers, university students and Language Assistants.
