CISS recently ran a workshop in conjunction with Professor Jane Duckett from the Glasgow University Confucius Institute. We would like to invite teachers to take part in a second workshop to plan and organise materials which Jane and her team are kindly devising to support schools. The materials will be suitable for use from P5 to S6, and may well appeal to teachers of geography , history, economics, business studies or to primary colleagues on issues such as pollution, environmental problems and introduction to social changes in China.

At this second workshop, we will consider some ideas and materials set out at workshop 1 which may be developed. It will take place on Tuesday 12th March between 4.30pm and 6.30pm in room 210 of the John McIntyre building at the University of Glasgow. To book a place at this workshop or for further details, please send an email to katie.hawkins@strath.ac.uk
