On the occasion of the Chinese Lunar Year of the Rooster, the Scottish Confucius Institute for Business & Communication at Heriot-Watt University is organising a New Year Celebration on Tuesday 7th February at 6pm.

Rainbow Melody is a group of Chinese musicians from Tianjin University of Finance and Economics (TUFE) who perform traditional music played on Chinese musical instruments including the bamboo flute, Chinese violin, zither, lute and other stringed instruments. This is a return visit by colleagues from TUFE, following the success of last year’s Chinese New Year event, and celebrates the deepening partnership and friendship between the two Universities and their respective Countries.

The concert will be followed by a Reception.
