Event Date: 23/02/2017 18:00 - 20:00

Most translators and interpreters are aware that marketing can make a huge difference to their business, but they either don’t know where to start, don’t have much of a budget for marketing and/or just don’t have any time for it. The challenge: without marketing it’s more difficult to get clients, and without clients a business is not sustainable.

The Marketing for Linguists sessions will show you effective ways to market your business and help you put together a basic plan of action. You will learn how to create your brand, compete in a global world and run marketing activities alongside your many other responsibilities.

This is the second in a series of three workshops and will focus on 'Competing in a Global World'.

See the attached poster for all session details.

The workshops are offered by the Chartered Institute of Linguists and hosted by the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
