In this joint speaker event and reception the Asia Scotland Institute presents the first of its series of Adam Smith Global Briefings, in association with the Adam Smith Institute. Dr. Gerard Lyons, Chief Economist and Group Head of Global Research of the Standard Chartered Group, will present his insights on how the global economy is being transformed by the tectonic shifts in Asia and then open the floor to a question and answer session. There will follow a networking reception. The evening will be opened by Dr. Eamonn Butler, Director of the Adam Smith Institute, and Roddy Gow, Chairman of the Asia Scotland Institute.
