With assistance from SCILT, Scotland’s National Centre for Languages and the University of Strathclyde, the annual conference of the Scottish Association for Language Teaching (SALT) will take place on 3 November 2012 in the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.

SALT's annual conference, Excellence in Practice, will offer 20 seminars with a focus on practical strategies to help and inspire us to further implement Curriculum for Excellence. The programme covers a wide range of talks from speakers directly involved in the development and delivery of the Curriculum and offers practical examples to all. A specialist publishers’ exhibition, including stands from various language organisations, will form an integral part of the conference.

Registration is from 08.45 and the day finishes at 15.20, with a choice of 3 seminars for delegates. The keynote address will be delivered by Neil Logue, Director of Education for Angus.

Bookings must be made by 12th October and fees will remain at last year’s prices: £50 for SALT members, £75 for non-members and £22 for students.
