Carol Padden is a Sanford I. Berman Endowed Professor within the Department of Communication at the University of California, San Diego and Dean of the Division of Social Sciences. Her areas of research focus on language, communication and culture and she has published extensively on the study of sign languages.
The talk will be given in ASL, but interpretation into English and BSL will be provided.
