The Languages Education Team (formerly CILT) now based at CfBT has worked with ALL to create a primary strand to the Language World conference to inspire and support all those involved in teaching languages to primary schools. Come along and find out and discover:

  • what is inside the subject co-ordinator’s ‘tool box’
  • how picture books can help to develop a reading for pleasure approach in young language learners
  • ways in which you can integrate phonics when teaching a foreign language

As well as sessions full of practical ideas, there will informative talks and workshops on the new KS2 language curriculum, the challenges of and possible solutions to transition and ideas for teachers who want to improve their own confidence and skills in the foreign language.

Why not join us and use this as a great opportunity to browse primary resources, gain new ideas and see how other primary schools are introducing and developing languages.

Language World 2013 will reignite the momentum for languages in the primary school!

Language World has been a key event for language teachers for many years and is organised by the subject association for language teachers in England, the Association for Language Learning (ALL).
